On February 9, 2021, the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute organized a spiritual and educational event dedicated to the 580th anniversary of the birth of Alisher Navoi in the Alley of Writers Park in Tashkent.

The event was attended by Rector B.T.Daminov, Vice-rector for Youth Affairs of the Institute M.A.Akhmedova, advisor to the Rector on Youth issues – leader of the primary organization of the Youth Union H.A.Abidov, Head of the Department for Youth Work, Spirituality and Education A.Khudaiberdiev, faculty of the Department of Uzbek Language and Literature, members of student theater studios and student youth.

The agenda of the event included a festive celebration of the birthday of Alisher Navoi, the Sultan of the gazelle heritage.

During the event, the rector of the Institute B.T.Daminov spoke about the work carried out at the Institute to educate students in the spirit of humanism and patriotism, taking into account the value of the priceless spiritual and educational heritage of our great ancestors in understanding the national language, as part of the wide celebration of the 580th anniversary of the birth of Alisher Navoi.

Considering the importance in the world culture of national and universal ideas deeply expressed in the works of Alisher Navoi and their invaluable role in increasing the intellectual potential of the younger generation, in their upbringing in the spirit of high moral concepts, I believe that further in-depth research and wide promotion in our country and internationally of the literary and scientific heritage of the great poet and thinker is the younger generation.

At the event, members of the student theater studio staged performances and miniatures in their own performance. Also, at the event, students read lines from A.Navoi’s gazelles.

Following the results of the event, a decision was made on the importance of the spiritual and educational heritage of our great ancestors for education in the spirit of humanism, patriotism, understanding of national history, as well as on the constant familiarization of young people with the work of Alisher Navoi during classes and the organization of spiritual and educational events.
