On march 14, 2020 Annual meeting of JICA short-term training courses program graduates Association in Uzbekistan was hold.  The representatives of ministries and committees of Uzbekistan, who had taken part in JICA training courses in Japan, representatives of JICA and ambassador of Japan in Uzbekistan took part in the meeting. Representatives of several ministries, institutes and other organizations, including cooperators of Innovation Center of Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute, visited the event. 

Meeting was opened with speech of headman of JICA representation in Uzbekistan, Takasaka Muneo, and greeting speech of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Japan in Uzbekistan, Fujiyama Yoshinori.  

The participants of the meeting, including representatives of Research Institute of Sanitation, Hygiene and Job Diseases, Republican Perinatal Center, Uzbekistan State University of Physical Culture and Sport, showed their presentations and videos, told about JICA training courses in Japan and about mini-projects, which had been released with JICA, like getting different medical equipment, sport equipment for the people with disabilities, international conference “fight against corruption in education” etc.

JICA programs’ coordinators presented information about conditions for project offers to JICA, about JDS education programs, about JICA volunteers’ activity in Uzbekistan and about the JICA short-term training courses program graduates Association’s plan for 2020. At the end of the event visitors asked questions and got answers from JICA programs coordinators. Then, the meeting was end with closing speech of JICA programs coordinator, Farkhod Kurbonov.
