On March 25, 2023, among the staff of the clinic of the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute, an event was held on the Referendum “Constitution in a new edition in New Uzbekistan”.

The Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis adopted the Law on the new edition of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The law will be put to a vote in a popular referendum. The referendum was scheduled for Sunday, April 30. According to the new edition, the number of articles in the Constitution of Uzbekistan has been increased from the current 128 to 155, and its norms from 275 to 434. Conceptual changes are made to 91 articles out of 128. In general, 65% of the constitution is being changed.

The event took place in the courtyard of the clinic of the Tashkent Pediatric Institute. The chief physician – A.A. Jalilov, responsible for spiritual and educational work – D.A. Umarov spoke and provided information about the referendum on the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
