Within the framework of the Uzbek-Russian International Medical Forum, held on June 3-4, 2023 in the city of Samarkand, an agreement was signed between the St. Petersburg State Pediatric Medical University and the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute on the opening of 23 new areas of residency in joint educational programs of the International Faculty.

Further development of cooperation in the field of joint educational programs of residency will be carried out in the following topical areas of medicine:

— obstetrics and gynecology;

— dermatovenerology;

— nephrology;

— gastroenterology;

— anesthesiology and intensive care;

— plastic surgery (5 years);

— cardiovascular surgery;

— ultrasound diagnostics;

— urology;

— endoscopy;

— rheumatology;

— cardiology;

— pediatric dentistry;

— endocrinology;

— pediatric oncology;

— adult oncology.
