From July 3rd to 5th, 2023, a unique hackathon called “Code Fest” took place at Astrum IT Academy located in the Tashkent region. The event was organized by IT Park with the support of the Tashkent regional administration. The main goal of the hackathon was to enhance the IT potential of the region and create a favorable environment for innovative projects.
In total, the prize fund of the hackathon amounted to a staggering sum of 1 billion Uzbekistani soms. This significant reward is capable of stimulating participants to create high-quality and advanced projects.
As expected, the hackathon attracted numerous participants from different age groups and areas. One of the main requirements was that participants had to be over 16 years old.
The hackathon involved specialists from the Center for Advanced Technologies and Strategic Initiatives of TashPMI, under the teams SHIFO AI and ICMED AI. The team SHIFO AI presented a project called YURAK AI, aimed at determining the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases. They used artificial intelligence algorithms to effectively identify and predict possible cardiovascular system illnesses in patients.
The ICMED AI team presented a project called HOMILA AI, based on machine learning algorithms that can identify the risk of developing diabetes. Their project demonstrated unique opportunities for AI application in medicine and attracted great interest from participants and the hackathon jury.
After active participation and successful submission of their projects, all hackathon participants were awarded certificates and valuable prizes from the organizers.
