Employees of the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute, Halmukhamedov Zhavokhir, Popenkov Artur, Tuichiev Sherzod and Habibullaev Sanzharbek have started an internship program (Medical Education for the Future) at the prestigious Severance Hospital in Seoul, South Korea. This opportunity provides them with a unique chance to immerse themselves in the world experience of medical practice and knowledge exchange in the world’s leading medical institution.

    During the 6-month internship, Zhavokhir Halmukhamedov in the Department of Nephrology and Hemodialysis, Artur Popenkov in the Department of Pediatric Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology will participate in active exchanges of experience and gain a wide range of knowledge about advanced methods of treatment, diagnosis and management of medical cases. They will work under the guidance of outstanding specialists in the field of medicine and will actively participate in various medical procedures, immersing themselves in the unique treatment methods offered at Severance Hospital.

    Tuichiev Sherzod and Khabibullaev Sanzharbek are undergoing a 3-month internship in the field of medical education and I will study the experience of Yonsei Medical University, which will be applied in the future at TashPMI. Yonsei University is among the world’s top 100 universities, and it is safe to say that they study with the best specialists.

   This internship is part of our ongoing initiative and collaboration with Yonsei University Healthcare System to enrich the professional experience of our employees and expand medical knowledge to better serve our patients and society as a whole.    We wish Halmukhamedov Zhavokhir and Popenkov Arthur a productive and successful stay at Severance, and Tuichiev Sherzod and Habibullaev Sanzharbek at Yonsei Healthcare Education and are confident that their new knowledge and experience will make an important contribution to the development of our medical practice and education in Uzbekistan
