December 18, 2023, marked a day of great triumph for the SHIFO AI team representing the Center for Advanced Technologies and Strategic Initiatives of the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute. On this day, the final stage of the extensive mGovAward mobile application competition, focused on government services, took place at the “Aloqabank” building.

Demo Day served as a unique platform where promising startups had the opportunity to present their projects before a specialized audience and experts, including representatives from the UAE. The goal of the event was to select the best of the best.

The SHIFO AI team actively participated in this event, successfully navigating all stages of the competition by showcasing their innovative project titled “School of Autism” – a mobile educational application designed for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The application was developed with the needs of autistic children in mind, enabling them to enhance speech, memory, and fine motor skills through modules adapted to their abilities based on ABA-therapy.

The “School of Autism” project by the SHIFO AI team stands out not only for its social significance but also for its innovative approach to education. This unique project secured a well-deserved place among the Top-20 projects that made it to the finals of the mGovAward competition, considering that over 5,000 applications were submitted for this prestigious event. This achievement holds special significance, highlighting the influential role of the SHIFO AI team among numerous competition participants and serving as a vivid endorsement of the high acclaim received by the “School of Autism” project.
