In September 2023, the strategy “Uzbekistan – 2030” was unveiled, approved by the relevant Presidential Decree. This document defines the future of the country, the trajectory of development and specific indicators that must be achieved.

The strategy, which sets out the proposals and opinions of the population and is discussed in detail by the general public, pays special attention to the issues of building a system of quality education for the country’s youth, including higher education.

In particular, by bringing the coverage of youth with higher education to at least 50 percent, organizing the education system in accordance with changes in the international labor market, technological processes, bringing the quality of education in universities to a new level, including 10 higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan in the ranking of the most prestigious higher educational institutions in the world “TOP 1000” and international accreditation of educational programs of 30 universities. goals have been set to achieve the transfer.

The task has also been set to introduce a “two-degree system” and train personnel based on 50 joint educational programs in cooperation with foreign universities included in the “top 500”. By realizing these goals and objectives, bringing them to life, training of specialists capable of meeting international standards and being competitive at the global level is achieved.

In addition, in subsequent years, as a result of replenishing libraries of higher educational institutions with at least 1 million units of modern literature and complete digitization of the library fund, construction and commissioning of additional academic buildings for 120 thousand places and student dormitories for 150 thousand places, the educational infrastructure of higher educational institutions, as well as the needs of students and youth in housing, the material and technical base of universities is provided. It’s getting stronger.

I am sure that all this will serve to increase the intellectual potential of our youth, stimulate their academic and scientific activities.

I am convinced that the goals and objectives outlined in the strategy” Uzbekistan – 2030″, will contribute to the development of the country, improve the lives of our population and educate young people as mature specialists in their field in accordance with the needs and requirements for educational services. This will pave the way for the restoration of the future of the new country and the creation of Uzbekistan.
