From April 3 to April 30, 2024, the II International Olympiad “Avicena- 2024” among students of medical universities was held at the Tajik State Medical University.

A group of gifted students of the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute took part in the Olympiad online and won:

1. Husanzhonova Shahzoda Azizbek kizi, 4th year student of the II-Pediatric Faculty and Medical Biology, 1st place in endocrinology.

Scientific supervisor: Associate Professor, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Department of Endocrinology and Pediatric Endocrinology S.U. Muminova.

2. Anna Hegai is a 5th year student of Medical Prevention and Medical Faculty, 2nd place in otorhinolaryngology.  Scientific supervisor: Assistant of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology and Pediatric Dentistry Egamberdieva Z.D.

3. Mukhammezhanova Manzurakhon is a 4th year student of the I-Pediatric Faculty and Folk Medicine, 2nd place in otorhinolaryngology. 

Scientific supervisor: Assistant of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology and Pediatric Dentistry Salomov K.M.

4. Narbabayeva Shokhsanam is a 4th year student of the I-Pediatric Faculty and Folk Medicine, 3rd place in otorhinolaryngology. 

Scientific supervisor: Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology and Pediatric Dentistry Associate Professor, PhD Nurmukhammedova F.B.

5. Malika Rakhmatullayeva is a 4th year student of the II-Pediatric Faculty and Medical Biology, 3rd place in ophthalmology.

Scientific supervisor: Associate Professor, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Department of Ophthalmology and Pediatric Ophthalmology Bobokha L.Yu.

6. Miraipova Malika, a 4th year student of the I-Pediatric Faculty and Folk Medicine, was awarded a certificate for active participation in otorhinolaryngology.
