The Agency for Innovative Development under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan announces the 88th round of the international joint competition “Uzbekistan-Belarus” for the adoption of fundamental projects carried out within the framework of state programs of scientific activity.

This competition is held in accordance with the requirements of the state order for scientific research and is announced in the following subject areas:

  1. Physics, mathematics and computer science (mathematical, physical, mechanical sciences, development of informatization and information and communication technologies)
  2. Technical Sciences (technical sciences);
  3. Chemistry and Earth Sciences (chemical sciences, chemical technologies and nanotechnology, Earth sciences);
  4. Medical and Pharmaceutical sciences (medical sciences, pharmacology and pharmaceutical sciences);
  5. Agricultural and biological sciences (agricultural and environmental sciences);
  6. Biotechnology (biology and biotechnological sciences);
  7. Social and humanitarian sciences (philology and social studies, economic sciences, legal sciences, historical and archaeological sciences, pedagogical and psychological sciences).

When presenting the project, the project manager, based on the direction of the project research, must choose the direction of the scientific and technical council under the Ministry and submit the project in this direction.

The scientific group that has expressed a desire to participate in the competition must find a partner for the implementation of the project from the Belarusian side and submit projects announced by both sides and corresponding to the same topic, in accordance with the terms of the competition.

At all stages of the competition, only projects with a positive result from both sides pass to the next stage.

Scientific projects submitted to the competition will be accepted only in electronic format through the unified intellectual electronic platform of state scientific programs — www.grant.mininnovation.uz until June 13, 2024.
