The Agency for Innovative Development under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan announces the 87th round of the international joint competition “Uzbekistan-China” for the adoption of applied research and innovative projects carried out within the framework of state scientific programs.

This competition is held in accordance with the requirements of the state order for scientific research and is announced in the following subject areas:

  1. Cellular and molecular biotechnology (biology and biotechnological sciences);
  2. Medical-genetic and ecophysiological research (medical sciences);
  3. Energy-saving automated systems (technical sciences);
  4. Materials science and building materials (science of architecture, construction, design and urban planning, technical sciences);
  5. Food products and technologies (chemical technology and nanotechnology);
  6. Renewable energy sources (technical sciences);
  7. Astronomy (mathematics, physics and mechanics);
  8. Geology (Earth sciences);
  9. The study of new drugs and their mechanisms of action (Pharmacology and pharmaceutical sciences);
  10. Agriculture (agricultural and environmental sciences, chemical sciences).

When presenting the project, the project manager, based on the direction of the project research, must choose the direction of the scientific and technical council under the Ministry and submit the project in this direction.

The scientific group that has expressed a desire to participate in the competition must find a project partner from the Chinese side and submit projects announced by both sides and corresponding to the same topic, in accordance with the terms of the competition.

At all stages of the competition, only projects with a positive result from both sides pass to the next stage.

Scientific projects submitted to the competition will be accepted only in electronic format through the unified intellectual electronic platform of state scientific programs – www.grant.mininnovation.uz until June 1, 2024.
