From May 20 to 24, 2024, teachers and staff of universities from different countries, including associate professor of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology, Pediatric Dentistry of the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute Durdona Alimova took part in the international week of educational discussions, presentations and cultural events organized by John Paul II University in Biala Podlaska (Poland) as part of the program Erasmus+ Staff Mobility academic mobility for studying in third countries not affiliated with the program (KA171).
Within the framework of the week, there was a meeting with Rector Jerzy Nitychoruk and Vice-Rector for International Relations Grudniewski Tomasz, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work, as well as with the teaching staff of the Faculty of Medical Sciences of John Paul II University. The participants of the event also visited the department of obstetrics with a simulation center, the department of nursing with a single-profile simulation center, an educational and wellness center and sports facilities of the university.
In addition, during the project, teachers and university staff from different countries visited the children’s department, otolaryngological, gynecological, obstetric and neonatology departments of the Voivodeship Specialized Hospital and made presentations on the specialty. In particular, Associate Professor of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology, Pediatric Dentistry of the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute Durdona Alimova made a presentation on the topic “Curvature of the nasal septum: clinic, diagnosis, treatment methods”. In addition, the participants of the international week took part in educational discussions and cultural events organized within the framework of the event.
