On October 26, 2024, Mari State University hosted the II Interregional Student Olympiad on Childhood Diseases, dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding organizer of healthcare, Academician N.A.Semashko.
TashPMI was represented by the “Pediatric Aid” team, consisting of 5th year students of the II-Pediatric Faculty:
1) Khusanzhonova Shakhzoda 529-II ped.
2) Mingbayeva Sevincheon 530-II ped.
3) Nafisa coding 531-II ped.
The Olympiad was held in 3 stages. At the first stage, the teams had to solve test tasks in general pediatrics. The second stage was held in the format of an “Intellectual Game”. At stage 3, the pre-selected teams were given 2 clinical tasks on childhood diseases. 12 teams from Russia, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan took part in the Olympiad.
In the overall standings, the TashPMI “Pediatric Aid” team scored 183.95 points and took the honorable first place.
The second place went to the team of the Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University “Kinders” with a score of 164.37 points.
The third place was taken by the team of LGMU “Guardians of Health” with 146.21 points.
The Olympiad in Childhood Diseases was sponsored by the SMART LEARN GRADUATE SCHOOL OF FUNDAMENTAL MEDICINE. The winners of the Olympiad were given access to the school’s courses:
1st place – 100% discount %;
2nd place – 50% discount;
3rd place – 30% discount.
