On March 19, the Rector of the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute, Professor Botir Daminov, conducted an “Enlightenment Lesson” for students.

During the session, students received valuable information on political news, as well as economic and socio-political events in the country.

In particular, the discussion focused on the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and France. The session covered the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to France, negotiations between the leaders of the two countries, and agreements signed during the visit.

Additionally, students were informed about:

  • The National Anti-Corruption Council meeting chaired by the President of Uzbekistan,
  • International projects in agriculture,
  • Presentations on employment, investment, and export indicators,
  • The ceremony of acceptance of credentials from newly appointed foreign ambassadors,
  • Meetings between the President of Uzbekistan and the Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, as well as the Prime Minister of Georgia,
  • Efforts to expand practical cooperation with Georgia.

During the session, special attention was given to the government’s focus on the development of medicine and higher education, as well as the importance of the ongoing reforms.

Additionally, students were briefed on:

  • The Presidential Decree of Uzbekistan on enhancing education in the field of information technology, fostering scientific research, and integrating it with the IT industry,
  • The State Program for implementing the “Uzbekistan-2030” Strategy during the Year of Environmental Protection and the Green Economy,
  • The “Digital Uzbekistan-2030” Strategy and measures for its effective implementation.
