On April 16, 2025, the International Subject Olympiad in Preclinical Basic Disciplines among 1st–3rd year medical university students was held at the Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
A team from the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute also took part in this prestigious international competition. The team was led by senior lecturer of the Department of Anatomy, PhD in Medical Sciences, G.A. Primova, and included the following students:
- Yaira Abdullaeva – student of group 130-DI, Medical-Pedagogical and Medical Faculty
- Malika Bakhodirova – student of group 228-DI, Medical-Pedagogical and Medical Faculty
- Jasurbek Yusupov – student of group 226-DI, Medical-Pedagogical and Medical Faculty
- Ibragim Abdivokhidov – student of group 226-DI, Medical-Pedagogical and Medical Faculty
- Abdulloh Bobokulov – student of group 226-DI, Medical-Pedagogical and Medical Faculty
- Shahrukh Makhmatkulov – student of group 218-1P, Faculty of Pediatrics and Traditional Medicine
As a result of the international competition, the institute’s students, who demonstrated a high level of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, were awarded 3rd place.
