The Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 06.05.2019 No. PP-4310 mainly organized the training of doctors of narrow specialties of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan for primary health care institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan on courses of primary target specialization for a period of at least one year.
In accordance with it:
family doctors are accepted for primary target specialization courses on the basis of applications formed by state medical institutions of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan and territorial health organizations, taking into account the shortage of personnel in the relevant areas;
primary target specialization of doctors is carried out at the Tashkent Institute of Advanced Training of Doctors and medical higher educational institutions within the budget allocated for their maintenance;
upon completion of the primary target specialization courses, doctors are issued a certificate of the established sample, which gives the right to carry out activities in the received specialty only in primary health care institutions.;
doctors who have completed courses of primary target specialization are required to work for at least three years in a narrow specialty obtained in the institution that sent them for training;
the procedure, programs and terms of training of doctors of the required specialties in courses of primary target specialization, quotas and the procedure for selecting persons for courses of primary target specialization are determined by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
In accordance with the order of the Ministry of Health of July 18, 2022 on enrollment in primary target specialization courses (internship) at the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute in the 2022-2023 academic year, specialists will be trained in the following specialties:
- Anesthesiology and intensive care
- Allergology and clinical immunology
- Pediatric anesthesiology and intensive care
- Pediatric nephrology with hemodialysis
- Children’s infectious diseases
- Internal diseases (Therapy)
- Hematology and Transfusiology
- Laboratory work
- Nephrology with hemodialysis
- Nutritionology (food hygiene)
- Pathological anatomy
- Psychiatry
- Pediatrics
- Pulmonology
- Forensic medical examination
- Medical Radiology
- Phthisiology
- Endocrinology
- Epidemiology
- Infectious diseases.
