At the faculty, training is carried out in two areas of education “Professional education – Medical-pedagogics (on the basis of General Medicine)” and “General Medicine. Since 1998, admission has been started in the field of education “Professional education – Medical-pedagogics (on the basis of General Medicine)”, since 2010 – in the field of education “General Medicine”.

Over the years, the deans of the faculty were:

– 1998-2008 years – PhD, Associate Professor Toirov Nuriddin Toirovich;
– 2008-2009 years – DSc, Professor Abdusamatov Abdulaziz Abdulatipovich;
– 2009-2011 years – DSc, Professor Agzamkhodzhaev Talat Saidolimovich;
– 2011-2013 years – DSc, Professor Gulyamov Surat Saidvalievich;
– 2013-2015 years – DSc, Professor Khaitov Kakhramon Nazhmitdinovich.

From 2015 to the present, the dean of the faculty is PhD, Associate Professor Valiev Abdusamat Razzakovich.

Among the students and undergraduates of the faculty there are laureates of the State awards “Mard uglon”, “Zulfiya”, the badge “Meҳr-sakhovat”, the state scholarship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the state scholarship named after Ibn Sina, Islam Karimov, personal scholarships of outstanding scientists of our institute. Faculty students regularly take prizes at international and national scientific Olympiads, various scientific and creative competitions and sports competitions.
