Today, July 25, 2022, Dan Nelson, Director of Accelerated Learning and Global Engagement at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University, is arriving in Uzbekistan.
During the visit of the representative of Syracuse University, scheduled negotiations were held with the leadership of the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute.
The main topic of negotiations with the rector of the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute, Professor B.T.Daminov, was the expansion of internship programs for Uzbek specialists and undergraduates at the University of Syracuse, the implementation of a double degree program, areas of interest, as well as the exchange of experience in managing the healthcare system, holding the Days of Uzbekistan at the University of Syracuse and others.
In addition, as part of the visit of a representative of the University of Syracuse, a cultural program was implemented, which included a joint visit to the ancient city of Khiva in the Khorezm region and other cultural and historical places and monuments.
Recall, the Maxwell School is one of 13 schools and colleges at Syracuse University, a private international research university located in the state of New York, offering a choice of more than 200 specialties. The university’s global presence includes about 15,000 undergraduates and 5,000 graduate students; more than a quarter of a million graduates in 160 countries of the world; and students from all 50 US states and 123 countries.
