The faculty carries out its activities in accordance with the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Education”, Decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. UP-5847 dated December 7, 2018 “On comprehensive measures to radically improve the healthcare system of the Republic of Uzbekistan” and No. UP-5847 dated October 8, 2019 of the year “On approval of the Concept for the development of the higher education system of the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030”, Resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP-60 dated December 24, 2021 “On additional measures to ensure the academic, organizational and managerial independence of state higher educational institutions” and No. PP- 61 dated December 24, 2021 “On measures to provide financial independence to state higher educational institutions”, Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 20, 2017 No. PKM-393 “On approval of the regulations on the procedure for admission to study, transfer, reinstatement and expulsion students in higher educational institutions”, the Charter of the Institute and other legislative acts.
The number of graduates for the 2022-2023 academic year is 181 people, of which 2 are citizens of foreign countries (Kazakhstan, Russia).
In the 2023-2024 academic year, the number of students studying in bachelor’s degrees is 1,679. The departments of the faculty conduct training in 14 specialties of master’s degree and clinical residency.
In the 2023-2024 academic year, 357 students were enrolled in the “Pediatrics” direction of this faculty, 20 students – in the “Folk Medicine” direction.
On September 16, 2023, the Institute hosted a “Forum of Parents”.
In order to ensure the implementation of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PKM-713 dated November 25, 2021 “On measures to radically improve the activities of the Andijan State Medical Institute and its clinic,” 308 final year students of the faculty of the 2023-2024 academic year were distributed to places of practice, and lectures and practical classes according to the curriculum were organized in a distance format.
