One of the first departments was based at the organization of the Central Asian Medical Pediatric Institute in 1987, was the chair of the outpatient training number 2 (from 1987 to 1999). Department headed by Professor Sayera Shamilovna Altibaeva. The great scientific contribution of Professor S.S. Altibaevoy was to study the state of the pulmonary circulation in children with chronic tonsillitis before and after tonsillectomy, and the characteristics of adaptive clinical manifestations in children with recurrent bronchitis and development of methods for their correction.
Professor S.S. Altibaevoy published more than 80 scientific papers, 15 of them are teaching tools, produced one PhD. She has been working more than 16 years as a senior specialist for outpatient services at the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan and she worked as a chairman of the Board of phD commission of the Institute.
The study of clinical and functional characteristics of bronchitis in young children, under the direction of Professor Altibaevoy S.S., devoted to the work of assistant Agzamova Shoira Abdusalamovny. In this paper, for the first time in young children, patients with bronchitis, conducted a differentiated analysis of the ventilation of the different zones in the partial left and right parts of the acute and recurrent bronchitis in children depending on the clinical manifestations of disease variants. In 1999, by an order of the rector of the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute, the department was renamed as the Department of “GP-3 ‘, and in 2000 as a department of « Outpatient pediatrics with the physiotherapist.» This was associated with the transition to a seven-year training and education of general practitioners. Beginning in 2009, and to this day the Department functions as a department of “Ambulatory Medicine”.
From 1999 to 2004 the department was headed by Professor Isroilov Abdughaffor Razzokovich. Isroilov Abdughaffor Razzokovich made a great contribution to the study of membrane disorders, immune system and hormonal homeostasis in the development of nephrotic form of glomerulonephritis in children. He was the first on the extensive clinical material and established the role of immunological disturbances in the development of membrane nephrotic form of glomerulonephritis, developed methods for using medicine of thymus (timogen and thymulin) and antioxidant – membranostabilizatora tocopherol acetate.
Isroilov Abdughaffor Razzokovich defined the main scientific direction of the department for years. It is improving the diagnosis and treatment of common diseases of childhood.
A number of studies on the incidence in young children depending on the type of feeding and methods of its correction was conducted under Professor Isroilov A.R.. Assistant Professor Zhuraeva Z.E made significant development of the problem.
Also, under the direction of Professor A.R. Isroilova carried out extensive scientific work on the study of the exchange of tocopherol and bilirubin in infants born to women with anemia, depending on the period of breastfeeding, the results of which in 2005 was defended for PhD thesis by assistant Turdyvoy Sh.T. Isroilov A.R. is the author of over 60 scientific papers, 13 of them are teaching tools, prepared five PhD. He currently is a member of the Special Board for the current phD number 087.10.01 at the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute.
