Organization of the Press Service activities:
The number of employees of the Press Service is determined by the Council of the Institute in accordance with the complexity and scope of the tasks performed by it within the approved total number of personnel.
The activities of the Press Service are organized on the basis of a work plan approved by the Rector.
The Service is headed by a press secretary (head) appointed and dismissed by the rector, taking into account the conclusion of the information service of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The head of the service reports directly to the rector and at the same time is his adviser on information policy issues, is equal to the vice-rector in terms of remuneration, medical and transport services.
Head of the Press Service:
as the rector’s press secretary, he monitors compliance with the unified state information policy in the Institute’s system;
carries out the general management of the service, organizes the work of employees, distributes their duties, controls the quality of performance of duties;
on behalf of the management, participates on behalf of the institute in events of national and international significance on issues within the competence of a state body and organization;
requests, in accordance with the established procedure, information from the structural divisions of the Institute, materials and information necessary to perform the assigned tasks and functions;
develops proposals to the management to improve the image of the institute, improve the activities of the Press Service;
performs general management of the Institute’s media center and organizes its activities;
submits to the management, in accordance with the established procedure, a written proposal to increase the amount of salary allowances depending on the performance of the employees of the service;
coordinates the timing of employees going on vacation in order to prevent interruptions in official activities;
considers appeals of individuals and legal entities related to official activities, and fully complies with performance discipline.
Chief specialist of the Press Service for working with the site:
performs the duties of the head of the service during his temporary absence;
responsible for the preparation of a plan for the coverage of events organized by the Institute (media plan), as well as for the information support of the resources of the Institute and the media;
coordinates activities and interacts with representatives of departments and departments of the Institute responsible for the website;
ensures the operation of the institute’s website and official pages in social networks at a modern level;
ensures prompt dissemination of news on social networks concerning the activities of the institute and the higher education system;
Instagram Facebook provides constant posting and updating of information on the official website and official pages of the Institute in the Telegram messenger, Facebook and Instagram social networks;
provides posting and updating of news and other information at least once a day on the institute’s website, pages in social networks and messengers;
ensures the formation of announcements and press releases about upcoming events and informing the media about them;
responsible for the accreditation of journalists and the organization of their work at events;
ensures the participation of representatives of the Institute in talk shows, open dialogues, reports, TV shows and radio broadcasts based on proposals received from the National Broadcasting Company of Uzbekistan and private broadcasting companies;
prepares official statements together with the relevant departments and departments of the Institute in cases when various critical messages regarding the activities of the institute are published in the media or social networks;
organizes briefings, press conferences, press tours on topical issues related to the activities of the Institute and the higher education system, and also ensures the participation of representatives of the Institute in them;
carries out constant control over the timely execution of documents received from higher organizations, and prevents the occurrence of arrears on them;
cooperates with relevant organizations on holding briefings, press conferences, press tours, seminars on issues related to the activities of the institute and the higher education system, carries out organizational work;
prepares drafts of regulatory legal acts and orders of the Institute concerning the activities of the Press Service;
prepares an annual report on the activities of the Press Service.
