The Department of “Anesthesiology and Resuscitation, Pediatric Anesthesiology and Resuscitation” of the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute was found

ed on August 26, 1996. From 1996 to 2020, the department was headed by Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Ta’lat Saidolimovich Agzamkhodzhaev, currently the department is headed by Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Satvaldieva Elmira Abdusamatovna.

Students of the 5th year of the pediatric and medical-pedagogical faculties on the subject of “Anesthesiology, resuscitation with pediatric anesthesiology and resuscitation” and students of the 3rd-4th year of the Faculty of Biomedical and Folk Medicine “Clinical laboratory diagnostics”, as well as students of the 3rd year of the OHI in the specialty “Nursing in anesthesiology and intensive care”.

In addition, the department conducts scientific research in the direction: “Development of new methods of anesthesia and intensive therapy in children with congenital malformations.”

The staff of the department actively cooperates with the following organizations: the Medical Pediatric Academy of St. Petersburg, the Surgery Center named after Sizganova Almaty, Yeon-sei Cardiovascular Center Seoul Yu.Korea, Medical University Sweden, Tashkent Medical Academy, Tashiuv, Huzhad tepa Universiteti Dagramichi Hospital. The staff of the department actively participates in the development of methodological recommendations, textbooks and textbooks on anesthesiology resuscitation with pediatric anesthesiology and resuscitation. Over the past 3 years, they have issued more than 19 methodological recommendations, 4 textbooks and 7 textbooks.

In addition, the staff of the department actively participates in international conferences, congresses and symposiums. Over the past 3 years, they have published more than 100 theses, 50 articles (15 of them are foreign stat.)
