The department trains 3rd-year students in the educational direction “Pediatric business” and 4th-year students in the educational directions “Pediatric business”, “Medical business”, “Medical and pedagogical business”, “Medical and biological business”, also clinical residents and undergraduates in the specialty “Dermatovenerology” are trained at the department.

The department conducts scientific research in the following areas:

  1. “Clinical and immunogenetic characteristics of the course of ichthyosis in children born in conditions of panmixia and inbreeding” by the basic doctoral student (PhD) Turayeva F.A.
  2. “Features of the course of HIV-associated dermatoses in children” by assistant Nabieva D.D.
  3. “Clinical, immunogenetic studies in children with psoriasis” by assistant Valiev A.A.
  4. “Differentiated approach to therapy and prevention of papillomavirus infection in children” by assistant Adilgereeva M.I.
  5. “Improvement of acne therapy taking into account clinical, microbiological and biochemical research methods” by assistant Pulatova S.H.
  6. “Vitiligo in children: psychosomatic characteristics and development of step-by-step treatment” by assistant Akhrarov H.H.

Scientific potential of the department — 73.3%

The clinical bases where undergraduate students, as well as undergraduates and clinical residents study are:
— clinic of Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute;

— Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Dermatovenerology and Cosmetology of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

The staff of the department actively participates in the development of methodological recommendations, textbooks and textbooks on dermatovenerology.
