REPORT ON THE 2nd ANNUAL REPUBLICAN SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE WITH INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPATION “CURRENT ISSUES OF NEUROREHABILITATION”

On June 21, 2024, a scientific and practical conference was held in Tashkent on topical issues of neurorehabilitation. The conference was organized by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute, the Public Association of Neurologists of the Republic of Uzbekistan, headed by the chief neurologist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, head of the department of neurology, child neurology and medical genetics, professor, MD. Majidova Y.N.In the course of the conference, such leading specialists as: Gafurov Bakhtiyar Gafurovich D.M.N., professor, head of the Department of Neurology of the Central Department Store of the MZ RUZ, chairman of the public association of neurologists of Uzbekistan, Honored Health Worker of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Tashkent, Uzbekistan), Mirjuraev Elbek Mirzavkatovich. m.d., professor, head of the department of neurorehabilitation of the Center for Neurorehabilitation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Tashkent, Uzbekistan), RAKHIMBAYEVA GULNARA SATTAROVNA d.m.d., professor, head of the department of nervous diseases of the TMA MOH of the Republic of Uzbekistan, member of the European Academy of Neurologists (Tashkent, Uzbekistan),NAJIMITDINOV SAIDKAMOL AIBEKOVICH neurologist of the highest category, candidate of medical sciences, associate professor, chief physician of the NEUROREHABILITY clinic (Tashkent, Uzbekistan), MAGZUMOVA SHAKHNOZA SHAKHZADEEVNA doctor of medical sciences, professor of the department of psychiatry and narcology TMA Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Tashkent, Uzbekistan), as well as a guest from Russia EVGENY SERGEEVICH LITVINOV, Ph.D., Chief Physician of the Bioacoustic Correction Clinic (Moscow, Russia).
During the conference, issues such as cognitive rehabilitation for stroke, management of rehabilitation and therapeutic measures in the recovery period of stroke, rehabilitation after stroke, comprehensive rehabilitation of children with cerebral palsy, and the method of functional neurotherapy - bioacoustic correction were discussed.
During the conference, discussions of the neurorehabilitation process, answers to questions and interactive discussions were held, in which the specialists themselves took part.
The results of the training will be the introduction of the gained experience and knowledge into practical neurology, which will lead to a reduction in disability and mortality from stroke in our country.
