The department of training of scientific personnel was organized in 1972. In 2005 on the instructions of Cabinet of Ministers of Republic of Uzbekistan # 07G’8-68 and according to modemmograme # G’7- 04-127 from August, 25, 2005 the department was renamed to department of training of scientific and scientific – pedagogical personnels. To this day, the department is called the Department of scientific research, innovation and training of scientific and pedagogical personnels.
From 1974 to 2006 Tamara Azizovna Kostyuchenko headed a department.
2006 – 2008 Zakirova Nargiza Bakhadirovna managed the department.
From 2008 till now Abzalova Shakhnoza Rustamovna heads the department of training of scientific and scientific – pedagogical personnels.
From 2005 to 2022, the department is called the Department of Scientific Research, Innovation and Training of Scientific and Pedagogical Personnel. Since September 2022, the department has been renamed the Department of Scientific Research, Innovation.
