Students of the 1,2 courses of the following faculties have a study at the following department: I Pediatrics, Medical-pedagogical and medical, Higher Nursing, II Pediatrics and Medical Biology on the subject “Foreign language in medicine “. Also, students from International faculty have a study in our department on the following subjects “Foreign language for medicals”, “Business English language”.
The department teachers have research in the following areas: pedagogy, methods of teaching English, philology.
The degree of scientificity of the department is 25%.
The department is located on the fourth floor of the Educational and Administrative block in the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute.
Department staff, students and undergraduates actively cooperate with the following organizations: Uzbek State University of World Languages, Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami, Tashkent Medical Academy, Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute, etc.
The staff of the department is actively involved in the development of guide books, teaching aids and textbooks on the methodology of teaching foreign languages. The teachers of the department, students and undergraduates take an active part in international conferences, congresses and symposium.
