DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SCIENCES, PEDAGOGY AND PSYCHOLOGY
According to the order of the Rector of ToshPTI No. 371 dated August 30, 2021, the departments of Civil Society, Pedagogy and Psychology and Philosophy were reorganized and named the Department of “Social Sciences, Pedagogy and Psychology“. This department conducts training in the following disciplines:
- Pedagogy and psychology
- Philosophical sciences
- History of Uzbekistan
There are 21 teachers of the department. Since 10 of them are professors and teachers with scientific degrees and titles, the scientific potential of the department is 50%.
DEPARTMENT OF PHILOSOPHY
The Department of Philosophy began its activity in 1972. Later, on its basis, the departments of “Philosophy”, “Political Economy”, “Scientific Communism” and “History of the CPSU” were established separately. In 1993, the “Philosophy”, “History of Uzbekistan” and “Economic Theory” departments were merged. In 2004, by the decision of the Scientific Council of TashPTI, a separate “Philosophy” department was established. In 1972-1978, associate professor N.E.Eshmetov, in 1978-1986 professor O.E.Ergashev, in 1986-1990 associate professor E.Yu.Yunusov, in 1990-1993 professor M.N.Abdullaeva, in 1993-1993 In 2007, Professor H.F. Khaidarov, in 2007-2008, Associate Professor N.E. Mukhammadiev, and in 2008-2021, Professor H.F. Khaidarov was the leader.
