In 1972 in connection with the creation of the Central Asian Pediatric Medical Institute, the main staff of the Department was transferred into the newly organized Department of infectious diseases epidemiology.

1962-1988 years – V.M. Majidov
Professor Majidov Vali Majidovich. Since 1922 in this Department worked as an assistant, since 1954 he worked as a Professor. Macidov V.M. 1947 he defended his PhD on the topic “Fundamental phagocytic reactions when brucellosis; 1963, defended defended his doctoral dissertation on the theme “Brucellosis (clinic, course, duration).
He compiled more than 87 nauchnyh works, 6 monographs, 3 methodological recommendations. Under the guidance of Professor V.M. Majidova. were defended 1 doctor’s and 16 candidate’s dissertations. 1972-1990, he was the rector of the Central Asian Medical Pediatric Institute.
1988 -1993 years.- I.I. Sapunova
Born in 1936. in 1960, graduated from the Tashkent Medical Institute. 1960-1962 experienced trainee; 1963 he worked as an assistant at the Department. 1962 to 1966, he studied at the postgraduate course. in 1966 he defended his candidate dissertation on the theme “the problem of differential diagnostics of modern chronic brucellosis and residual phenomena after suffering brucellosis infections”.
Compiled more than 16 scientific articles.
1993-1996 years – M.B. Sharapov
Sharapov Mahmud Bakhanovich – was born in 1948. In 1972, graduated from the Tashkent State Medical Institute. 1974-1977, the postgraduate student of the Moscow Medical Institute of Parasitology and tropical diseases; 1977-1984’s. – assistant Professor of epidemiology, infectious diseases and Phthisiology of Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute; 1984-1987’s. – doctor-infectiologist in the Republic of Guinea; 1987-1991 – assistant Professor of epidemiology, infectious diseases and Phthisiology of Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute; between 1991 and 2002’s. – associate Professor of epidemiology, infectious diseases and Phthisiology of Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute; 2002-2005 – Vice-rector on scientific work at the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute.
1996-1997 years – A.X. Zakirxodjaev
Zakirxodjaev Asral Xodjaevich – was born in 1938. In 1966, graduated from the Tashkent State Medical Institute. In 1971 he defended his candidate dissertation on theme of “Autoimmune process in patients with infectious hepatitis when some methods of treatment”. In 1989 he defended his doctoral thesis on “Clinical and immunological mapping of heavy forms of virus hepatitis in different age groups.” 1984-1991, worked as, the Pro-rector on medical work. 1986-2010 years. head of the Department of Children infectious diseases.”
He is the author of more than 700 scientific articles, 120 training manuals, 25 rationalization proposal, 12 monographs, 4 textbooks and 2 books. Under the guidance of Professor AH Zakeraeva were protected 2 doctor’s and 8 candidate’s theses.
1997-1998 years – S.N. Bobohojaev
Babakhujaev Sirojiddin Nasirovich – born 1956. In 1980 graduated from the Central Asian Medical Pediatric Institute, worked as an assistant at the Department of pathological physiology”. In 1985 PhD thesis, 1992 he defended his doctoral dissertation.
Author of over 250 scientific publications, 6 monographs, 2 educational manuals. Since 2009 – currently somedirectory on scientific work in research Institute of epidemiology and infectious diseases.
Since 1999, currently head of the Department Professor I.A. Kasimov.
He was born in 1952. In 1969 graduated from Tashkent State Medical Institute. 1979-1986’s. Junior researcher, scientific work in research Institute of epidemiology and infectious diseases. 1986-1992-assistant of the Department of Infectious diseases”; 1992-1994 assistant Professor of the Department of Infectious diseases”; 1994-1999 samdeman Tashkent State Medical Institute. 2000, the Dean II-pediatric faculty of the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute. Since 1999 – currently-head of the Department of Epidemiology of infectious diseases”.
Author of more than 270 articles and abstracts, more than 35 training manuals, 5 of rationalization proposal, 1 monograph. Under the guidance of Professor I.A.Kasimov were defended 2 doctor’s and 6 master’s theses.
